Full of local goods, from fruits and veggies to seafood and poultry, this farmer’s market is the best way to spend a slow Saturday morning. Located at Hurkamp Park, all of the items for sale must be locally grown, within 75 miles of Fredericksburg. While managed market season runs from April to October, Hurkamp Park keeps their “doors” open seven days a week. Rain or shine, it’s going to be a great time!
Managed Market Season
Beginning on the third Saturday of April, through the end of October, you are bound to enjoy the fun and food that comes with Managed Market Season. During this team, Prince Edward Street is fully closed for traffic, ensuring it’s a safe place for vendors to set up and shoppers to walk. On Saturdays, the community of Fredericksburg gets their pick of the patch, from fresh honey to mushrooms, meats, eggs, coffee, seafood, bread, and so much more. Join the fun from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!

Not sure if you can make it on a Saturday? No worries, you can catch one to four vendors at the market during the week, and on Sundays, you can find a few of your Fredericksburg favorites set up for sale as well. Gather the family and make plans to shop and eat locally before the end of October rolls around!
