Farm Roasts at Braehead

You can gather up your family and friends for a farm roast at Braehead Farm this fall! Each farm roast reservation includes a fire pit, picnic table, and firewood. The Braehead staff will start the fire and extinguish it when you head home so that all you have to worry about is spending quality time outside with your loved ones. Of course, marshmallow roasting is highly encouraged! There are three farm roast time slots: 9:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., 12:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. When you arrive, check in at the farm market before heading to your designated fire pit! If you plan to reserve a farm roast slot during the month of October, you’ll also need to purchase a Fall Festival Family Playgrounds ticket in addition to your admission.

Produce Picking

While you’re at Braehead Farm, be sure to take advantage of their plentiful fields by picking your own produce! There is no admission fee for the Pick Your Own fields, you just pay for what you pick. Most of Braehead Farm’s produce is sold by the pound, and you can purchase a reusable, aerated 4-quart “buskget” for $1.00 to hold the produce you pick. This busket is pre-weighed in the Braehead Farm system so that the scale only registers the weight of your picked produce. If you bring your own container, the weight of your container will count towards your total weight and price.
