Celebrate Fall at the Belvedere Plantation Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch in Fredericksburg

Pumpkin patches often bring back fond memories of childhood field trips and family adventures. Belvedere Plantation has everything you need to give your kids the excitement of memories that can last a lifetime. Watch as they take in the thrill of autumn festivities, and enjoy a bit of nostalgia yourself at this Fredericksburg pumpkin patch and corn maze.

Fall Festivities at Belvedere Plantation

It’s true that pumpkins are the claim to fame for Belvedere Plantation, but that’s far from all you’ll find there. Here are some of the other exciting attractions available.

The Great Pumpkin Patch

Getting to pick out your pumpkin is one of the best parts of visiting a patch. Hop on the hayride, and you’ll see there are plenty of the orange vegetables to choose from at Belvedere. Field pumpkins are priced at $.69 per lb. There’s also the all-you-can-carry option for $29.99 – start practicing! And if you come on a Friday or Saturday night, the pumpkin patch will be lighted. Note that the patch will be closed during the Fall Finale (more on that below).

Maize Maze

The Maize Maze for this year is a Curious George-themed corn maze in celebration of the cartoon character’s 75th birthday. Enjoy the getting lost in this monkey-shaped maze, or check out the Little Farmers’ area with younger kids. The smaller maze is adjacent to the larger maze and features an optional slide and y-bridge.

After sundown on the last Friday of the season, November 3, bring a flashlight for a blackout version of the Maize Maze!

More Activities

Besides the pumpkin patch and maze, guests will enjoy zip lines, a pumpkin mountain slide, pedal carts, pony rides, and a barrel train. Kids of all ages will have fun with face painting and marshmallow roasting.

Visit the Olde Barnyard to feed animals such as pigs, turkeys, and pygmy goats. Then travel to the Fun Barn and swing from the rafters – literally. The barn is filled with straw that makes for a safe landing when you inevitably fall from all the rope swinging. And don’t forget about the Swine Speedway, home to the hilariously cute Pig Races.

For small children, the Little Farmers’ Corral offers John Deere trikes, a mini corn maze, giant sandboxes with toys, and horse swings.
